A penetrating sealer (SLX100, SL100, Saltguard, Concrete Protector SB and Concrete Protector WB) soaks into the surface to repel water and oil from a finished concrete floor and extend its service life. With a penetrating sealer, there’s little to no change to the appearance of a floor, and no stripping is needed.

On the other hand, a topical sealer (LSGuard and PolishGuard) is burnished in and produces additional shine on your floors. These topical products often require no stripping, unlike typical floor polishes and waxes, or high-build coatings such as epoxies and polyurethanes.

As always, be sure to contact our Customer Care team at 1-800-255-4255 to ensure you’re getting the right product for your specific floor conditions and needs.
