Q: I notice that on the data sheet for EK Restoration Cleaner, it says the pH is 5.5 in concentrate. What would the pH be of the runoff after mixing with typical rinse water?
A: Normally, the rinse water coming off the wall will be more neutral, in the 7 or 8 pH range. But there are some variables to that, such as the pH of the water used to rinse, and the pH of the soiling coming off the wall. The only way to really know is to test the rinse water.
